Cenoxsys is developing a powerful new in silico approach to drug discovery

Our most advanced project is the optimization of a small molecule to decrease SOD1 levels in the cell. Cenoxsys developed the first anti-SOD compound, pyrimethamine and demonstrated its efficacy in humans in a phase 1 clinical trial for ALS.

Pyrimethamine, identified and developed by Cenoxsys, is the first and only drug proven in a clinical trial to reduce SOD1, a causative agent in ALS.

A newer class of anti-SOD1 compounds with higher potency and greatly reduced side effects is in development in 2016 and will soon be in clinical trials

We have harnessed newly available computational power to co-develop a proprietary machine learning approach to target-based drug design


We are also currently developing osteocalcin analogs for the treatment of spinal cord injury, rheumatoid arthritis and other inflammatory disease, and diabetes.
