Who We Are

Daniel E. Benjamin, Ph.D., CEO,

Dr Benjamin is a pharmacologist with 25 years of experience in both biotechnology and large pharmaceutical companies.  He has demonstrated expertise in drug design, discovery and development, and has advanced two small molecules into the clinic for the treatment of amyotrophic lateral sclerosis.  He has investigated therapies for diseases of the central nervous system, pain, trauma, and inflammation. As Chief Scientific Officer at AlsGen, he led the clinical development of pyrimethamine, an antimalarial drug repurposed for use in ALS. He led the IND project team, delivering regulatory documentation and biomarker development to launch a Phase I clinical trial in ALS.  Dr. Benjamin received his Ph.D. from the University of North Texas Health Sciences Center in General and Molecular Pharmacology and is the author of over 95 peer-reviewed scientific publications, patents, and invited presentations.  

Edwin Holland, COO

Edwin J. Holland has acted as a Business Development and corporate executive with more than 17 years experience in the Chemical and Pharmaceutical industries. Currently North American Director of Sales of Enamine LLC. Prior to Enamine Mr. Holland served at  Princeton Biomolecular Research  as Vice President Sales responsible for Worldwide Sales Prior to this, Mr. Holland  held leadership positions in Sales & Business Development at ComGenex International, LLC where he successfully combined independent Sales units, expanded client base & revenue per client with new services. Then as Chief Operating Officer/VP Sales North American unit he interacted with all levels of management and staff in both international and domestic environments. Developed new concepts & expanded chemistry services for worldwide Sales & Business Development, while maintaining a cohesive sales & business development effort. Ed received his bachelors degree from Temple University.
